    • I’m not sure about frequency, but I’m (fairly) positive that they had a similar one in 2009. A lot of what’s causing this particular one is wildfires mixed with high-winds — I think it’s called a “haboob.”

    • Word. 🙂 Like I said, I experienced one when I was a wee little lad (I was either two or three), visiting relatives in Arizona. The only thing I remember (besides the gigantic cloud of dust) is being absolutely fucking terrified, lol.
